Hand Sanitising Wipes − Approved by UK DEFRA

A unique alcohol-free and waterless cleaning and disinfecting Hand Sanitising Wipe, proven to be highly effective against H5N1 Avian Flu.

Dries rapidly to provide effective hand sterilisation − without the need for water or towels.

KEY PROPERTIES

Impregnated with an alcohol free solution, Avian Flu Wipes have been approved to European Standard EN 1276 with a log 5 (99.999%) kill rate.

Avian Flu Wipes have a high skin tolerance − natural skin oils are preserved, making them suitable for persistent antimicrobial activity. This helps inhibit bacterial growth on skin between hand washes.

APPROVALS

UK DEFRA approval − Avian Flu H5N1 (Newcastle Disease)
An alcohol free foam approved to EN 1276.
Independent laboratory tests have shown Avian Flu Wipes to have a log 5 (99.999%) kill rate against:
Staphylococcus aureus, E.coli (O157), Salmonella enteritidis and Clostridium difficile (vegetative).

APPLICATION

Feed first wipe from centre of roll through the lid feeder hole.
Remove visible soiling from hands. Rub wipe into hands well, paying particular attention to fingernails and skin creases.
Replace lid after use. No rinsing required.

Essential Hand Preparation Rules

Remove gross contamination with soap and water.
Keep nails short and polish free.
Avoid wearing wrist watches and jewellery.
Avoid wearing artificial nails.
