New biocide − Rapid 6 achieves a Log 5 reduction on Clostridium perfringens spores.

Rapid 6 (Pat Pending) achieved a Log 5 reduction on Clostridium perfringens spores.

Rapid 6 tested by microbiology laboratory, Scientific Services of Norwich, achieved the following results:

Concentration 1% Contact time 30 minutes
Temperature 20% 0.3g/L bovine albumin (clean)
Control Reduction
1.2x106 reduced to < 10 Log 5 reduction
  1. Rapid 6 is a new oxidising biocidal concept specifically designed for use by Hospital Infection control personnel.
  2. Rapid is a new blend of oxidisers, oxy-acids and idophers which generate free radicals for optimal destruction of pathogenic DNA and RNA.
