Foam Test Kits

Foam Concentrate and Produced Foam testing should be undertaken under laboratory conditions to ensure accurate and consistent results.

It is not always possible to access a Foam Laboratory and for these occasions we offer "Field Testing Kits":

Produced Foam Test Kit − Digital Refractometer

Enables foam induction systems to be easily calibrated
Contains a step-by-step manual together with worked examples
Suitable for testing to the following International Standards
NFPA 11 2002 (para. 10.6.2 and 3)	BS 5306
Suitable for use with AFFF, Protein and AR Foams

Produced Foam Test Kit − Manual Refractometer

Enables foam induction systems to be easily calibrated
Contains a step-by-step manual together with worked examples
Suitable for testing to the following International Standards
NFPA 11 2002 (para. 10.6.2 and 3)	BS 5306
Suitable for use with AFFF, Protein and AR Foams

Enables foam concentrates to be checked for physical conformance

Contains a step-by-step manual together with worked examples

Suitable for determination of SG, ¼ drainage, expansion ratio & induction %

Suitable for use with AFFF, Protein and AR Foams (not SG of AR Foams)

Foam Collection Board

Enables produced foam samples to be taken correctly for use in calculating:
25% Drainage Test	Foam expansion

The above Foam Test Kits allow for site testing to be completed as described in NFPA11 and BS5306 Part 6.1 (for further details, click here).

All components used are non-electrical, allowing the kits to be safely used in hazardous areas.
